Graduated from Northern Illinois University with a degree in Finance. He began his insurance career in 1974 as a field rep for Crum & Forster Insurance Company. In 1978 he founded the R.M. Coyle Company, an independent agency. In 1991, R.M. Coyle Company merged with the Varland Agency, forming the Coyle-Varland Insurance Agency, Inc. Mike became the Director of CoyleKiley Insurance Agency, Inc. in 2015.
